Each fall, a Back-to-School Night is held to communicate the philosophy, goals, and expectations of the school and individual grades. Both administration and teachers will be involved in the program. This is a required meeting for PARENTS ONLY.
Each spring, Los Altos Brethren School holds an Open House. This is a special occasion for all parents and friends to visit the school and share in the students' work and projects. All parents are encouraged to attend. See Calendar for this year's date.
Local firefighters visited our school and taught the Bulldogs the essentials of fire prevention and safety. All students agreed that their favorite part was seeing the equipment in action!
Students experienced the all phases of the democratic process, from campaign speeches and signs to ballots and election returns.
Our all-school Feast commemorates the first Thanksgiving. Students assist in preparing the food and decorating the tables. Alumni often tell us that the Feast is one of their most cherished memories.
Each spring our students participate in the Jog-a-Thon, which is our school's major fundraiser. Proceeds are used to enhance the curriculum, upgrade the facility, and otherwise support our students and staff.
