All students in grades four through six receive instruction in the computer lab on a weekly basis. In keeping with our philosophy of developmentally appropriate instruction, keyboarding begins in the fourth grade. Working in small groups, students begin with keyboarding skills. They then progress to word processing projects related to classroom curriculum.
Students work in small groups and receive individualized assistance as needed.
Computer instruction culminates in the sixth grade, when students utilize their acquired skills and expertise to publish their own yearbook.
